The Dublin Marathon is an annual marathon taking place in Dublin, Ireland. It is held on the last Sunday in October, which is a public holiday weekend in Ireland. Held each year since 1980, the event has grown each year.
Internationally known as the ‘Friendly Marathon’, the annual Dublin Marathon takes place on Sunday 27th October 2019. The course terrain is generally flat. It starts at Fitzwilliam Square in the city centre and finishes at Merrion Square. The route meanders through the Phoenix Park and along the historical Georgian Streets of Dublin where thousands of spectators line the streets to cheer you on every step of the way.
