Croí is delighted to share that the Croí Nurse Team received an INCA Cardiovascular Nursing Excellence Award in the Cardiovascular Nursing Team Category at the 2026 Cardiovascular Nursing Excellence Awards.
This year’s awards were announced during an Annual Meeting of the Irish Nurses Cardiovascular Association (INCA), which took place on Saturday, March 7th, at the Croí Heart & Stroke Centre. The awards recognise the outstanding contributions of individual nurses and nursing teams working in cardiovascular care, both nationally and internationally. They celebrate those who inspire enthusiasm for cardiovascular nursing and demonstrate exceptional commitment, knowledge, and excellence in improving the management and quality of care for cardiovascular patients.
There were three award categories this year: the Individual Cardiovascular Nurse Award, the Cardiovascular Staff Nurse Award, and the Cardiovascular Nursing Team Award, which was proudly received by the Croí Nurse Team.
In total, 40 submissions were received across the three categories. All entries were anonymised and assessed by an independent reviewer based outside Ireland, highlighting the exceptional quality and breadth of work carried out by our nursing team.
