The Stroke Carers Support Group visited SCCUL Sanctuary in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway, for a day of relaxation, chakra and tarot cards, tai chi and music, experiencing a retreat on the beautiful grounds of Kilcornan Woodlands.
The Galway Stroke Support Group took a day trip to the beautiful Kylemore Abbey in the mountains of Connemara, Co. Galway. They explored the wonderful Victorian Walled Garden and Abbey grounds, followed by lunch in the Kylemore Kitchen from produce freshly sourced from the on-site vegetable beds.
The Mayo Stroke Support Group went on a trip to Knock Village, Co. Mayo, learning about the history of Knock as a place of pilgrimage, seeing the beauty that is the Knock Basilica and had a lovely two course lunch at the boutique Knock House Hotel.
