The Croí Corrib Charity Cycle, now in its 30th year, is gearing up for another thrilling event on Sunday, June 9th. Croí, the charity dedicated to heart and stroke awareness, prevention and support, is excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 2024 Croí Corrib Charity Cycle.
This year, the cycle again starts and finishes in Galway City, departing from the Dangan Sports Pavilion, and concluding at the Croí Heart & Stroke Centre on Moyola Lane in Newcastle, Galway.
All registrants will receive a special limited-edition commemorative 30th Anniversary Croí Corrib Charity Cycle medal and cap, full route support, mechanical support, and food throughout the day, including a post-event party at the Croí Heart & Stroke Centre! Cyclists who raise an additional €50 or more will receive a limited edition Croí Corrib Charity Cycle Jersey and be entered into a draw to win a bike valued at over €1000, courtesy of Westside Cycles. Registration for the event is now available on the Croí website at www.croi.ie.

Cyclists will embark on an unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes of the region. The two routes are designed to appeal to all abilities, and there are two picturesque routes to choose from:
107km Route: Departing from the Dangan Sports Facility Carpark, the route winds through Moycullen, Spiddal, Rossaveal, Maam Cross, Oughterard, and back through Moycullen, before finishing back in Galway City at the Croí Heart & Centre, Newcastle.
47km Route: Starting from the Dangan Sports Facility Carpark, cyclists will journey through Moycullen, Oughterard, and back through Moycullen, before concluding at the Croí Heart & Stroke Centre, Newcastle.
