Serving generations of families in the West of Ireland since 1986, Croí is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with a mission to end premature death or disability from cardiovascular disease in Ireland.
Our ability to carry out lifesaving and life-enhancing work is made possible through the continued support of our donors.
Your contributions help fund research, prevention initiatives, CPR training, advocacy efforts and patient care, creating healthier futures for communities across Ireland.
At Croí, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of governance, accountability and transparency. As such, our Board has adopted codes of best practice which go beyond the minimum legal requirements to ensure the highest level of transparency and accountability.
Croí is:
- a registered charity with the Charities Regulator (registration number 20016616)
- a registered charity with the Revenue Commissioners to receive tax exemption (charity number CHY7500)
- registered with the Companies Registration Office (company registration number 118373)

Our donors and supporters, who are the backbone of our organisation. We subscribe to a donor charter.
Achieving the highest standards and best practice in fundraising. As such, through our Public Compliance Statement, we are fully committed to achieving the standards contained within the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public.
We make our annual reports and financial statements publicly available on our website to demonstrate accountability and provide supporters with a clear understanding of how donations are used to achieve our charitable goal.
We adhere to the Charities Governance Code.
We are governed by a voluntary Board of 7 members from the medical and business communities. Our Board members do not receive remuneration.
We will openly address any queries at any time.
