Croí Annual Report 2025

Croí CEO and Board Members holding Croí's 2025 Annual Report

This week, we are proud to publish the Croí Annual Report 2025, highlighting a year of impact, innovation, and progress in our mission to prevent heart disease and stroke, save lives, and support recovery across the country.

From community health programmes and cardiovascular prevention initiatives to patient support services, advocacy, and research partnerships, our work continues to make a difference in the lives of thousands of people and families.  In 2025, we delivered 7,642 free health checks at 211 events across the country (our highest ever activity level), as well as supporting hundreds of people who have experienced a cardiac event or stroke through our health programmes.  The opening of the Joe & Helen O’Toole Community Stroke Hub at Croí House was a particular highlight of the year, and has underpinned a significant increase in our stroke support services.

Reflecting on the year, Croí CEO Mark O’Donnell said:

“This report is a reflection of the extraordinary commitment, compassion, and expertise of our staff and volunteers. Every day, they go above and beyond to support individuals, families, and communities. I want to sincerely thank each member of the Croí team, our Board, volunteers, partners, supporters, and funders for their dedication to our mission and for the impact they help us achieve together.”

As we look ahead, we remain focused on addressing one of Ireland’s greatest health challenges by expanding access to prevention, supporting recovery, advancing research, and advocating for better cardiovascular health for all.
