Croí is proud to announce the launch of its cutting-edge Mobile Health Unit. This innovative initiative, made possible by the generous Legacy gift from the Joe and Helen O’Toole Trust, marks a significant milestone in Croí’s mission to prevent disease, save lives, and promote recovery and wellbeing.

The Croí in Your Community Mobile Health Unit will be officially unveiled on Thursday, May 23rd, outside O’Tooles Supervalu in Tuam from 10am – 2pm. This launch event will showcase the unit’s state-of-the-art facilities and highlight its crucial role in bringing vital health services directly to communities. The launch event at O’Tooles Supervalu will feature interactive demonstrations, heath checks, and opportunities for community members to engage with Croí’s health team. Attendees will have the chance to learn about cardiovascular health, receive personalised health checks and gain access to valuable resources to support their wellbeing journey.

Designed to visit various neighbourhoods and regions, the Croí in Your Community Mobile Health Unit will serve as a beacon of health accessibility, delivering essential health checks and educational resources to individuals across the region. By taking preventive measures directly to the people, Croí aims to empower communities to prioritise their cardiovascular health and mitigate the risks of heart disease and stroke.
