Did you know that Atrial Fibrillation, the most common heart rhythm disorder and affects 11 million people across Europe. It is a heart condition that causes an irregular and often abnormally fast heart rate and is associated with a 5 times greater risk of stroke. AFib or AF ( as it is also known) is a very common cause of disabling stroke in Ireland, affecting tens of thousands of people, with the vast majority being unaware of it.
