“This is a great ‘kick-start’ to our fundraising efforts to develop a comprehensive after-hospital stroke survivor and carer support programme. Currently, the support initiatives we provide such as exercise, physiotherapy, speech & language therapy etc are all delivered by trained volunteers who give freely and generously of their time. Our aim is develop these services and put them on a more secure footing” says Croí’s Neil Johnson
Speaking at the presentation of funds to Croí, David Coen, Managing Director, Coen Steel said “ We are delighted to support Croí in this very important work. We have seen at first hand the great work being undertaken by Croí at its heart & stroke centre in Galway and indeed in communities throughout the west”
