Article: Harnessing digital health to optimise the delivery of guideline-based cardiac rehabilitation during COVID-19: an observational study
Croí MySláinte is a 12-week digital Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme developed and delivered during the Covid 19 pandemic. The programme gave participants and families the information, support and advice needed to return to everyday life post a cardiovascular event. Croí MySláinte highlights the enormous potential for digital health tools to improve accessibility and uptake of cardiac prevention and rehabilitation programmes.
The programme was developed in the most challenging of times and the outcomes are testament to a lot of hard work and dedication by many individuals who went above to make this programme happen – Irene Gibson, Zoe McCrudden, Denise Dunne, Aisling Harris, Lisa Hynes, Ella Murphy, Andrew William Murphy, Molly Byrne and John William Mc Evoy.
