𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗿𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝟭𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲.

It is a heart condition that causes an irregular and often abnormally fast heart rate and is associated with a 5 times greater risk of stroke. AFib or AF (as it is also known) is a very common cause of disabling stroke in Ireland, affecting tens of thousands of people, with the vast majority being unaware of it.

This FREE webinar took place online via Zoom on, Thursday, June 15th from 7pm–8pm.

▪Ann Malone, who shared her lived experience of Atrial Fibrillation.
